Terms of service (player)
When purchasing a playback licence for a Smartscript, whether free or for a charge, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
All playback licenses you purchase are linked to your user account.
A license has an expiry date that is applied on first playback of the Smartscript.
Any playback license purchases will remain in your player until it has expired or until the Smartscript creator (the Producer) removes it from our library, whichever comes first.
Prospero will try to keep your playback licenses available to you at all times until its expiry.
If Prospero has trouble doing this, we’ll work our hardest to give you access as quickly as possible.
Acceptable use policy
When you use our site and register for an account, there are a few rules you need to follow. We expect you to:
Supply us with your email address in order for us to give you permission to play or create content on our website.
Be 13 years of age or older when supplying this information.
Supply contact details that are accurate and up to date.
Be responsible for the security of your own account.
Not post anything illegal, dishonest or harmful to others, and not set out to deliberately break the website.
Check you have permission before creating any content or links onto the site.
Make sure the content you create is not hateful, harmful, or spreading misinformation.
Privacy policy
We treat your data seriously. Here's what we do for you:
Keep your email address and encrypted password in our database when you create your account.
Keep your account safe and secure and only share your details with third parties with your permission.
Allow you to easily remove your account from our website if you want.
Keep all other personal data you supply when signing up for marketing information confidential and separate to any account data.
Inform you of any changes to our terms and policies and give you a summary of those changes in plain language.
Terms of service (producer)
When subscribing to a Producer plan, you agree to the following terms of service:
Your subscription is linked to your Prospero user account.
Any subscription you purchase is automatically renewed or cancelled on the date of expiry, as specified in your account preferences.
Prospero will try to keep your Producer account accessible at all times.
If Prospero has trouble doing this, we’ll work our hardest to give you access as quickly as possible.
