Welcome to the Prospero family

Hi there. It’s great to meet you. Come on in.

A brief backstory. Prospero has been changing lives and learning for over five years now. For the team here at C&T (you can find out more about our work as a non-profit organisation here), Prospero was always the embodiment of our belief that creativity - and in particular theatre - could be a powerful tool for education and training when combined with the potential of digital technology. We launched Prospero just before the the Covid pandemic took hold and for the next two years we saw our platform flourish, with artists, educators and young people flocking to use our intuitive, playful tools and resources.

However, a lot has changed since then, and so has Prospero. Today we think of Prospero as a family of linked toolkits, each with their own distinct flavour and emphasis. It might be you are a theatre wanting to extend the educational offer of your latest production: then you need Prospero Play. You might be a school or academy chain wanting to share teaching resources between staff, students and schools: Prospero Learn is for you. If you are leading a research project at a university you should probably try Prospero Research. Finally (for now) , if you are a museum, gallery or heritage site, Prospero Curate can help animate your collection or story, or perhaps help engage local people with aspects of intangible heritage. Take your pick.

Of course, that assumes that we all live and work in neat silos, which we don’t. That’s why its possible to mix and match your flavours of Prospero (to start mixing metaphors).

Maybe you are a training provider or a business with a distributed workforce. Prospero Learn might be your starting point, but combined with Research you might gain new workforce and customer insights. Maybe you are a heritage site who might want to design an interactive walking guide for visitors using Prospero Play, but with Curate added to the mix you can catalogue and animate your collection in new ways.

We’re confident you can get creating in Prospero on day one - all you need is a license to get going - but if you want to collaborate with our skilled and experienced team here at C&T we have a number of tailored packages ready to get things moving. When you’ve seen how easy Prospero is to use we’re sure you’ll be happy to work independently.

Have a look round. See what you think. Give us a call. We’d love to explore the possibilities with you. Join the family.
