Help us market Prospero to new audiences around the world

C&T, the creators of Prospero, are looking to work with an individual or company who can help us design and implement a marketing strategy for our award-winning digital arts service.

Over the last twelve months Prospero has seen rapid growth, with arts and cultural organisations, museums, schools, universities and voluntary sector groups all using the platform to create and share their own interactive creative learning content. Thousands of schools around the world are now using Prospero, up 500% on March last year. Last year we were named a ‘Global Education Innovation’ by HundrED in Helsinki.

Now, thanks to the support of Innovate UK we are preparing to launch a significant upgrade to Prospero which will transform the way artists, educators and young people can use the the platform and make a difference to the lives of others. Worcestershire’s Proof of Concept Fund are also interested in investing in the new launch. The Department of International Trade also want to support this expansion, particularly in various overseas markets.

We’ would love to hear from people and businesses with marketing expertise who would like to help us on this journey.

We know what we need to do. We need to promote Prospero as a brand and a membership, increasing our visibility and telling our story to stakeholders and potential users of our software services. We need to engage in content and inbound marketing activities. We need to better understand our customers and users, be they schools, universities, arts or cultural organisations, or individual practitioners and students. As a consequence, experience of marketing in either or both the culture and education sectors would be an asset.

Work needs to be done on two fronts: first we need someone to help clarify our strategy and then we need them to get on with the ongoing job, both in the UK and internationally. We have access to additional marketing support in the form of an assistant, so this is about strategy, not day to day activity. Even though C&T and Prospero are based in Worcester, UK, the role can be fulfilled remotely. However, we are a small, committed team and will make you feel welcome! In keeping with our global ambitions and values, we welcome enquiries from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

We are working to implement the More Than A Moment pledge over the coming months and have signed the pledge in principle. We promise we will talk with all Black marketing practitioners who contact us. We are committed to Equal Opportunities for all.

If you think you can help us, please get in touch. . Please email us to let us know your interest and experience and any other useful information. A rate card would be helpful. Our Artistic Director Paul Sutton will get back to you.

Please contact us as soon as possible. Looking forward to hearing from you.
